London Townhouse Refurbishment

The main focus of the refurbishment was the complete rip-out and replacement of the original dull kitchen with a gleaming new fitted kitchen tailor-made for the family's requirements. Light was retained by installing a glass door between the kitchen and the hallway and storage was maximised by clever use of sliding units.

The feeling of space in the hallway is augmented by the open design of the bespoke iron and oak balustrade and doubled by the use of a wall covered in full-length mirror.

Upstairs rooms were re-proportioned to create a shower-room and guest en-suite in which we installed contemporary bathroom fittings.

The problem of limited space for the master en-suite was solved by the unusually striking deployment of opposing mirrors which expand the space dramatically.
